not quite the final countdown

I still have some time in New York, but that time is very noticeably getting shorter and shorter... It's pretty terrifying. But I must say, I am SO ready to leave. There are things holding me to New York for sure (ie. Shake Shack, the subway (I don't know how to drive, wah wah), friends, etc.) but California is calling to me! My feet ache for the soil of the west coast. Not to mention my stomach craves my mum's home cooking. I'm not bad at cooking, but nothing can beat my mum's culinary genius.

So, I have 20 days left. And I'd like to go on an adventure on each of those days! Look out New York! This tiny Asian girl is going to take you by storm!

finally.

Two things that are crazy to me right now:

1. It's August? When the hell did that happen??

2. My Asian adventure extravaganza is pretty much set!

12/01 - 12/07: Philippines (Cebu, Bohol)
12/08 - 12/14: Philippines (Manila, Tarlac, family time!)

YAY! Tonight is the first time that I've actually felt completely excited about this trip. No underlying or creeping feelings of terror or nervousness- just pure excitement! There is a lot (A LOT) that I'll miss when I'm gone and a lot (A LOT A LOT) to be sad about when I leave, but I'm really looking forward to getting out of here. I feel ready to move on and get my after-college life started! Bring it, Asia!
